StartupOS: Project Overview

StartupOS is a place to launch and trade fun tokens on Robinhood Chain. Launching a token costs nothing beyond network gas. You approve every launch and every trade in your own wallet, and your tokens stay there.

StartupOS lives at https://startupos.fun. To try everything with free test ETH, use the test site at https://testnet.startupos.fun. While StartupOS is in early access, both sites ask for a personal access code first. See Getting started.

Network and addresses says what runs on which network and lists every contract address. It is kept current.

What every token guarantees

  • Fixed supply. Every token has 1,000,000,000 tokens, and nothing can ever mint more.
  • Terms fixed at launch. A token's type, fee, fee split, holder tax and anti-snipe window are set when it launches. Later settings changes only apply to new launches.
  • Liquidity locked forever. Once a token is in its Uniswap pool, the liquidity sits in a locker that has no way to withdraw it.
  • Approved launches. Every launch needs StartupOS's approval before it can go on chain.
  • Anti-sniping. For the first 2 blocks after launch (about 24 seconds), every wallet except the creator's can buy at most 5% of the supply and hold at most 5%. Anyone can buy in the launch block itself, and selling is never restricted. The creator has no cap.

Two ways to launch

Bonding curveInstant launch
At launchThe price climbs along a curve as people buyThe token trades in a Uniswap V4 pool from the launch transaction
Opening market capAbout $4,660About 0.98 ETH on an ETH pair, or about 1 whole unit of any other pair token
LaterAfter about $14,170 of net buying, the curve sells out and the token graduates to a Uniswap V4 poolIt stays in its V4 pool for life
Price ceilingThe curve ends at a market cap of about $68,500, then the pool takes overNone

Each bonding curve is sized in dollars when its token launches, using the pair currency's price at that moment, and that size then stays fixed for the token. The price rises 14.7 times from the first token on the curve to the last, and most of the rise comes late: the first half of the curve takes about $2,930 of buying, the second half about $11,240. Launching a token has the full figures for both.

Three token types

The creator picks a type at launch, and it never changes. Auto-Burn is the default.

TypeTrade feeWhere the fee goes
Auto-Burn1%0.4% to the creator, 0.2% burned, 0.4% to the platform
Standard1%0.7% to the creator and 0.3% to the platform
Tax-Free0%Nothing is charged

A Tax-Free token stays free to trade for life, on its curve and in its pool after graduation. Fees and burns has the detail.

Holder rewards, the lottery and buyback and burn

  • Holder tax. An Instant token can add a holder tax of 1% or 2% on every trade, on top of the fee. The creator chooses at launch whether all of it funds holder rewards, or half funds rewards and half funds buyback and burn.
  • Holder rewards. Qualifying holders earn a daily share of their token's rewards and claim it on the Rewards page.
  • Weekly lottery. 10% of each token's rewards goes into a weekly pot, drawn for ten winners among its holders.
  • Buyback and burn. The burn shares of the fee and tax buy the token in its own pool and burn it, so the supply really falls.

These payouts run on mainnet for every token launched since October 18, 2026, and on testnet. Network and addresses covers tokens launched before then.

The FOMO jackpot

A separate game from the tokens. A pot of money sits on a clock, anyone can buy tickets, and every buy pushes the clock out. When it runs out the last buyer takes 50% of the pot and everyone holding tickets shares 30% of it, in proportion to how many they hold. Tickets get more expensive as the pot grows, so buying early costs far less per ticket and wins the same share. See The FOMO jackpot.

Baskets

A basket holds several assets at once, chosen from the stocks, ETFs and crypto tokens that StartupOS lists. One share is backed by a fixed quantity of each asset inside it, and you can burn the share to get those exact quantities back. Nobody can change a basket once it is created, not even whoever created it, and redeeming never depends on a price feed. See Baskets.

Before your first trade

  • Check the token's contract address. Names and tickers are not unique, and the address is what identifies a token.
  • Check how much the creator holds. The creator can buy any amount at launch.
  • Make sure your wallet is on Robinhood Chain.
  • Read Risk disclosures.
  • Spend only what you can afford to lose.

Reference

StartupOS is an interface to public contracts. It is not investment advice, and a token listed on StartupOS is not an endorsement of it.
